Turner & Wrights is a food and beverage retailer with over 50 years of experience, they specialise in customer service with hundreds of satisfied customers each week. After a fantastic lighting system upgrade for Kitwave’s Teatime Tasties facility, Kitwave decided to reduce their operating costs further by upgrading the lighting system at the Turner & Wrights facility next.
The main product types across Turner & Wrights’ warehouse consisted of 1 x 70W and 2 x70W T8 fluorescent linear fittings which only had a short, expected lifespan of 15,000 hours and required frequent changes while consumed a high volume of energy relative to low light output. CEMA Lighting replaced these out-dated linear luminaires with CEMA Lighting’s market-leading 190lm/W Super Lumen Circular Highbays, which more than tripled the expected lifespan to 60,000 hours whilst emitting a much brighter and whiter light. This resulted in a lighting system that would last longer, was more durable, and improved the overall light quality with a product that was more suited to higher ceilings.
Within the offices and communal areas were a mix of 4 x 18W & 4 x 36W T8 panels for the recessed ceiling, similar to the linear fittings these panels were extremely inefficient, and the cost of operating these luminaires was quartered when replaced with CEMA Lighting’s 30W Stylish Halo Recessed Panel, all while creating a modern aesthetic through the area, which was a win-win for Turner & Wrights.
All of CEMA Lighting’s products come with their industry-leading 8-year warranty, which consists of their signature 5-Year Fit % Forget Warranty for the first 5 years after installation. This means that if any luminaire supplied and installed by CEMA Lighting were to fail, CEMA Installations would return and replace the product, free of charge*. Now, Turner & Wrights do not have to worry about maintenance.
