Porcher Abrasive Coatings Ltd.
Most of the space within the Boston facility was production area, swarmed with Metal Halide highbay luminaires. These products only had a life expectancy of around 15,000 hour and were operating under 70% of their original performance. After a free consultation with one of CEMA Lighting’s specialists, it was clear that replacing these traditional luminaires with our market-leading 190lm/w LED highbay would increase the quality and quantity of light throughout the building, but also consume 38% less energy.
All offices and corridors were mostly lit by CAT 2 recessed fittings, which were consuming around 72W each, switching these fluorescent products with CEMA Lighting’s Halo panel filled the space with brighter light and also updated the area with a modern and stylish lighting solution.
After the project was complete, Porcher Abrasives’ lighting system was operating at 29% of the cost of the original system and benefited from a total of 8 years warranty, allowing for peace of mind and minimal maintenance costs for the future.
