THE CHALLENGE
As energy costs continue to rise Wilson & Co’s project aims to enhance the lighting levels throughout their site and reduce energy expenses by replacing their current traditional lighting system.
THE SOLUTION
CEMA Lighting suggested a comprehensive lighting plan after a thorough evaluation of Wilson & Co’s lighting. Our lighting consultants recommended a scheme of works to reduce the site’s lighting energy costs and vastly improve their lighting across the main car showroom and workshops.
Our Installations team replaced outdated T5 fluorescent tube fittings in the main showroom with our CEMA LED Recessed Halo Panels, enhancing light levels and modernising the appearance.
To achieve brighter, clearer light levels in the mechanical workshop areas we replaced the existing lighting with our LED 200Lm/W Super High Output HighBay luminaires vastly improving light levels.
THE RESULT
With a quick return on investment of 0.44 years by transitioning to CEMA Lighting’s LED installation, Wilson & Co Vauxhall are cash positive, and employees now benefit from improved health and safety across the site with significantly enhanced light levels across the workshops and main car showroom. Even better, the lighting energy consumption has been reduced by 55%, resulting in an annual decrease in CO2 emissions by 8.30 tonnes, the equivalent to planting nearly 50 trees every year, minimising the company’s environmental impact.
