Supply Technologies have been in operation for over four decades providing efficiency to their customers’ supply chains. CEMA Lighting were instructed to install a new high-efficiency LED lighting system to their two warehouses on their Birmingham site due to their current inefficient lighting system failing and showing signs of age. Upon inspection by our lighting experts, we concluded that the warehouses’ current lighting system was a mixture of high-energy consuming 400-watt SONT HighBay fitting, T5 fluorescent tubes and very low-quality LED HighBay fittings with a 20,000-lumen light output that were either failing or showing signs of deterioration.
We proposed to replace all the existing fittings across the warehouses with our exclusive 200+ Super High-Output HighBay fittings. These fittings are part of CEMA Lighting’s new 2022 range and offer an industry leading 200+ lumens per watt efficiency. CEMA Lighting’s Super High-Output HighBay luminaires have an anticipated lifespan of 100,000 hours and will consume 69% less energy than their existing SONT HighBays thus reducing Supply Technologies’ carbon footprint. By switching to the proposed lighting system Supply Technologies would also benefit from a brighter, whiter light spread and improved uniformity in lighting across the site.
On completion of the project by our in-house installation team, Supply Technologies now benefit from a 65% reduction in annual lighting running costs and annual saving of 8.99 tonnes of CO₂.
