CEMA’s knowledgeable lighting consultant carried out a full site audit at the premises in Surrey with the client where they expressed that their site’s lighting was poor and expensive to run. They were hoping for an energy-efficient, high-output solution that would not only save money but reduce their carbon emissions too. Light output was of high importance due to the nature of the intricate work carried out by the company.
Our consultant proposed to replace the 400-watt MBI LowBay gas charged fittings with CEMA Lighting’s exclusive 200+ Super Lumen Circular HighBay luminaires. These 150-watt luminaires have a 30,000-lumen output and will spread a brighter and whiter light, providing greater light uniformity at working level. CEMA Lighting’s 200+ Super Lumen Circular HighBay has an anticipated lifespan of 100,000 hours and consume 68% less energy than their current lighting. We also proposed using our popular high-output Halo Panels for the office areas.
Following CIBSE lighting guidelines of 500 Lux in production environments our experts created lighting designs to demonstrate post level lighting levels which will see average lux levels of 500+ across George Jackson Limited’s production and warehouse areas. Our team identified several areas of lighting within the warehouse that could be repositioned to create the best possible light source whilst reducing energy for George Jackson Ltd.
Our in-house installation team worked around operations on site to complete the project seamlessly and successfully in 2 days. Removing all old traditional light fittings and responsibly disposing of them in line with the WEEE Directive using our recycling partner.
